[BC] Whatever Happened to the BMS Editor?

I recently came across details on the BMS Editor; a WIN NT-based multitrack recorder/editor
from more than a few years ago. When held against modern recorders, it seems a little
limiting -- 16 tracks, DirectX effects only (no VST), Windows NT foundation, etc.

I have a short 5-page PDF copy of the users' manual, but nothing else. Has anyone
else heard of this beast? Did it evolve into something else along the way?
