Juanita Kreps made history during the Carter administration when the 
president appointed her as  Secretary of Commerce - the first woman 
to hold that office.

Not so historic was the pronunciation of her name in 1979 by the 
night rip-reader at WSGO-FM (now WTKV), Oswego NY: "Uganda Craps".

Those early days of my career still crack me up...
