[BC] faking out the competition

My favorite was told by Rick Sklar, who when PD at WINS, called WABC 
and actually got on the air live in a fake Italian accent and was 
interviewed as the POPE!  At the end of the interview the jock said 
he appreciated the Pope's listening to WABC and Sklar said, 
"WABC?  I'm sorry, I thought I was calling WINS.  IN New York, 
EVERYONE listens to WINS." and hung up....

He played the aircheck tape at a Madison Broadcast group meeting 
before he passed away a year or so later ... hi-larious,
