I'm very much in agreement.  It was (and still is) some of the finest... if 
you can afford it.
I have in my tool box a simple AMP ratcheting crimp tool which I picked up 
in 1976 for around $40.00.  I see AMP still sells it today but for $500+.
This "cost of living" isn't all it's cracked up to be.
