Funny enough I already tried that and it lasted about 2 weeks before he
reversed the problem and started openning word files with adobe and that
ended up being just as much fun.
I guess a lot of it has to do with the End User.
He also has a nasty habit of trying to open Outlook Express before his
Anti-Virus software completes it's startup on his Laptop. Every time he does
I get a phone call or a Knock on my door asking if I can get him Online.
I always end up disabling his Network Connection and then Enabling it to
force it to reconnect.
I even put a shortcut to the NIC on his desktop and showed him how to
Dis-able it before he leaves at night and to Enable when he comes in, and to
his credit he is learning to be Patient.
Patience Is A Virtue.......D**m it.
As soon as my Fedora Core 7 Server is online I will be able to prevent a lot
of these issues cause he's not the only one that does it.
Thanks for your response I really enjoy helping others and it's comforting
to know that I don't confuse everybody.
