[BC] IBOC "secrets" and my opinions.

If I might add an observation -- this weekend I ran two remotes, and we are
set up to go with either analog and digital cell phones. When I ran with
digital, the complaint was that there was a "raspy, gargly" sound to it.
The analog had a hissy sound in the background, but the operator at the
station said it sounded better. So, I guess stations just have to name
their poison -- noise on AM, multipath on FM, or clean but raspy digital
artifacts. Take your choice. Nothing is perfect. But I think the sound of
digital may adversely affect TSL.
