[BC] CBS NCAA Broadcasts

It depends upon where you are and the games that are being aired at any
particular moment. Every game this year is being originated in HD;
however, all of the HD feeds are "flex" feeds, which means they can be
switched around between games at any time.

If your station is on a "constant" feed for a particular game, one that
cannot be switched (because the game is one of particular local
interest), CBS is instructing stations to upconvert the SD "constant"
feed to HD. They simply don't have the logistical or satellite capacity
to do both flex and constant feeds from every venue in the first round.

I would imagine that things will get a little better next weekend.

At least this year we don't have to worry about putting different games
on our SD and HD signals (what a PITA that was!), and at least this year
I'm enjoying the first round from the comfort of home rather than
sitting in MCR...
