TM Century has been bought out; they are now Jones TM. They still have the
GoldDiscs and GoldDrive, etc. services, and AFAIK you can pick and choose
from their list and only pay for what you get. For example, we would have
no use for Fats Domino. (OK, don't call me a racist -- it's his music I am
talking about.) We are still 50% instrumentals and would have to augment
the vocals somehow, maybe by dubbing our tapes to the drive. Another thing
-- we are not "Music of Your Life" and, just because most of our listeners
are older doesn't mean we only play old music. We play some Kenny G, Andrea
Boccelli, and local artists like Jerry Vale. And Eastlan shows us at #1
12+, so whatever it is we're doing, it works. We just need to move from
tape to HD.
