Reach Media, the corporate owner of the Tom Joyner Show has an opening. I 
offered to pass the info on in case anyone was interested or knew of anyone

Position Title:      Senior Manager, Network Operations & IT
Reports To:     Senior Vice President, Operations & Chief Administrative 
Officer
Overview:

Dallas-headquartered company targeting the African-American community, 
parent company of The Tom Joyner Morning Show & BlackAmericaWeb.com, is 
seeking an experienced individual to align, manage and direct the company?s 
information technology infrastructure with strategic operational initiatives.
Individual will be responsible for information strategy and planning, data 
and project management solutions, administration of the company?s network 
infrastructure, corporate IT Department and day-to-day management of the 
Dallas and outside office(s) operations.
Individual must posses a strong technical knowledge with a ?get it 
done/hands-on" attitude.  Individual will be responsible for overseeing 
management of servers, Avaya IP Office telecom system, card access security 
system and coordinating projects, office moves, build-outs, data and voice 
cabling, budgets, equipment and operating costs.

Primary Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of information technology services within the company, 
including networks, servers, email, contingency planning, user support, 
purchasing, telecommunications, application support and development and 
security.
Responsible for developing and managing corporate capital and departmental 
operating budgets and forecasts.
Manage strategy, resources, opportunities, timelines, and budgets for all 
IT projects and establish and maintain corporate IT policies and procedures 
including Sarbanes-Oxley annual reporting and testing.
Track and maintain documentation and inventory list for equipment, assets, 
procedures, strategies, systems, requirements, solutions and update on a 
continuing basis.
Provide support and problem assessment of network servers and supporting 
software, support desktops, notebooks and Mac?s, system software, software 
applications, printers, servers, routers, bridges, switches, modems, and 
cabling.
Insure backup and recovery processes are in place for all server systems 
and other mission critical data.
Design, setup and administer network infrastructure, including Firewalls 
and VPN.
Supervise interdepartmental and interoffice moves, management of build 
outs, office furniture installations, A/V equipment operation and other duties.
Maintain positive working relationships with building services, vendors and 
suppliers to assure business needs are met.
Manage and supervise Manager, Network Technology and Facilities

Requirements:
BA/BS degree in a technical field.
Seven (7) years experience in information technology with prior Management 
experience in mid-large size corporation.
Five (5) years hands-on experience in network management including design 
and implementation of LAN/WAN environments spanning multiple sites and 
cities, hardware, software and telecommunications services and design and 
maintaining TCP/IP networks.
Exceptional planning and organizational skills to manage multiple projects, 
tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Demonstrated knowledge of multiple software and hardware platform and 
products, technology languages and web application development.
Hands-on experience managing and supporting PC software and hardware, 
administering Microsoft Exchange Server and advanced knowledge of Microsoft 
Office Applications
Ability to manage corporate complex Avaya IP office telephone system with a 
Call Center operation.
Excellent communication, analytical, organizational and interpersonal 
skills including the ability to interact with all levels of employees.
Must be able to work nights and/or weekends and be on call 24/7 as needed

Compensation:
Compensation package commensurate with skills and experience. Relocation 
not provided.
