You have got to be joking! AM Daytimers are not going to get squat! It
will be the Class C AM's (old Class IV) that will be getting the FM
Translators! The reason is because the FCC sees them as FULL TIME
facilities. We have to sign off or go to UNPROTECTED flea power at
night.
The past 2 examples have proven my point in comments I made to the FCC
so far in that rule making they had on this issue! Me thinks that they
want us Class D Daytimers to all go dark! Less worry for them and less
for them to keep up with!

Actions like this, and the public file fine against Holy Cross College
in
Worchester last year will eventually leave the reserved band a desert
wasteland. Nothing but National Liberal Radio, preachers, and holy
rock from
satellite-fed stations.

Perhaps or change the rules, allow AM daytimers to apply for this space.

Maybe even auction it off. The way the rules are being enforced or not
leads me
to believe that all bets are off.

Why wait for a ruling from the FCC on FM translators on the AM band
when you
get a better ROI by simply contacting your local in Congress.
