If this is a Windows box, you might go into the ports configuration in the
device manager and lower the receive and transmit buffer. I've had to do
this a time or two to get deviced on my com port to communicate with another
serial device.

Decided to try out the SAGE pc program while I had a unit on the bench.
I can't get my SAGE to connect to the laptop. Using a null modem cable on
the front panel port. PC port is good on other devices. SAGE is set up for
the computer port as no device, 9600 baud. SAGE is version 5.88, DSP ver 25
and the software is version 6.1.
What am I missing?
