" The oversize PL-259 type connectors that are used on the test leads
for a OIB-1 or 3? Delta wants an arm, leg and several children for a
lead set. I was considering making my own...but have not been able to
find the connector.

I have three of the giant PL-259 style female-female adapters (barrels) that
I bought at an engineering school surplus auction. They are in the original
Amphenol cellophane packaging. I think Amphenol would be a good place to
look. These animals, used on the OIBs, may be so rare that they might not
be in a catalog (I've never seen one in an Amphenol catalog). You might
take a photo of one and e-mail it to the company.

I'm not sure what I would use one of these giant barrels for. I have an
OIB-3, but haven't needed a F-F adapter as of yet. They were in a huge pile
of equipment and parts. I bought the whole lot. My wife tells me to "Get
rid of a bunch of that junk...you'll never use 90% of it." I tell her
"That's true...I just don't know which 10% I'll need."
