Try the 50's too! My dad used a 664 as his mic of choice for his Ham rig. 
When he went SSB I inherited it when he got a Turner.
I would like to enter the EV-666 into the mix. That was a nice sounding mics 
as dynamics go. Pretty warm as I remember.
