[BC] STL question

Does anyone know if it's legal to use an AM station as the STL to simulcast
on a co owned (same owner/licensee) FM station. I couldn't find anything
that addresses this situation in the regs.

In other words can I receive the AM station audio in stereo (or mono for
that matter) and feed it to the existing microwave STL from the FM studio
to the FM TX?

The AM station studio falls outside of the 25mile/70dbu contour of the FM
station so the FM studio has to be retained to maintain the Main Studio
compliance. The respective stations COL's are approximately 35 miles apart.

Or do I have to put in a separate STL or phone lines from the AM studio to
the FM studio?

Thanks,

Ron D
