[BC] UPS Damaged Goods

One the few occasions that I have had to ship things like consoles and
exciters, I have always taken pictures/video of the packing process &
materials and the box/crate as it's turned over to the shipper. This has
saved my butt twice. Once, the customer claimed the item was damaged due
to bad packing, but it turned out this was their SOP with vendors.
Crooks. No dice. Second time, the shipper claimed it was packed poorly
and the container did not meet their "standards". When presented with a
video clip of the packing process, the box with their logo on it, and
even the smiling face of their employee sealing the box, their story
changed. They have since been removed from my "preferred vendors list".
