Thanks for the 'splain job Burt.

I was an ECM tech on B-47's back in the early '60's when things were mostly 
hollow state or very magnetic.  Our tail gunner radar fired twin small bore 
cannons but I never heard of them being fired in anger, but then again a lot 
went on over open seas so who knows.
