My favorite remains the gent who mailed a resume a couple of years ago.  He 
listed his phone number as "unlisted."  No, he didn't make the callback list.

Then, of course, there are the parents who call on behalf of their recent 
college grad son or daughter.  That shows a lack of initiative on the part of the 
prospective employee.

Another peeve are the form letters along the lines of "I've identified you as 
among the top 25 local companies in your industry."  Yep, that's research.

There are other examples.  Perhaps some of you can share.
