Actually those places are not good examples of what you'll see. In 
many cases the source is a pristine hard drive signal from within the 
store. In some cases that's changing as they partner with Comcast, 
Time Warner and Cox - good sources for HD. You'll see differences 
between Comcast HD and sources like DirecTV. According to friends who 
have been DirecTV customers for years (and a couple of dealers here) 
the quality of DirecTV has gone down as they squash ever more stuff 
on the satellite.
