You could switch to off air then and have no cable expense.  Those converters 
will be a magic box for rabbit ears.  I bought a set of Terk rabbit ears just 
for the learning experience.  What I found was that in a typical NYC apartment, 
analog varied from unwatchable to watchable but annoying. This was due to ghosts 
and noise. Tuning to HDTV, the pictures were perfect.

Someone is missing out on a big marketing opportunity by not selling these 
converters as antenna enhancers.  While the government wants to give these 
things away, some sharp promoter could be moving them at a hefty profit.

DTV kicks ass.
