No, I don't have HD. I see it when I visit stores like Circuit City or Best 
Buy. It's a good way to make A/B comparisons when there are *so many* sets 
going, some of them on different channels.

I'll just end up getting one of those inexpensive set-top converters when 
analog goes away and I have no choice. The NTSC set I have now has a very nice 
picture. I see no reason to $pend $o much money on something I *really don't* 
need. It's more than "good enough" to enjoy the few programs we like to watch... 
Yankees Baseball, UConn Basketball, Discovery, Trek reruns, Tennis, the 
occasional DVD, etc.

I look at HDTV vs NTSC kinda like the difference between a Ferrari & a Dodge 
Neon... they'll both get me from A to B just as well, but one is a whole lot 
more economical. (We both happen to have Neons. Bought used.)

I don't even bother to subscribe to the digital Cable service. The analog is 
just fine. (90 channels, and there's still nothing on.)
