If I wanted to sell my  300Z car but it was in a sad state
of repair, I surely wouldn't call the manufacturer and bitch
and ask for a free fixit.  It would be worked on by a local
fixit (better yet, keep-it-in-good-shape) guy.  

And we surely agree that the guy trying to sell this thing,
after it was allowed to run down, has a problem of his own
making.  It should be solved in a similar manner:  by his own
staff, given proper time and apparatus.
