As a child, I preferred to be straight.  But I didn't get my preference.

Unlike my religion and politics, I didn't "choose" or "prefer" my sexual
orientation; it chose me.

Nonetheless, if you are going to forbid those three topics, then what else
will we have to talk about here?  If you remember, this list was *created*
to serve as home for certain members' diatribes about sexual orientation,
religion, and politics.
