No, this list was NOT created for diatribes on anything.

It was created for those topics that were somewhat tangential to 
broadcasters, items that are common to broadcasters, but are getting 
away from the main Broadcast list, such as interests that belong to 
many, but not all broadcasters: ham operation would be a good 
example.  Limited discussion of trains, etc.  Usually, I will give 
extra latitude for threads that start to diverge.... but some threads 
are just fruitless.

But not private preferences as noted.  This NEVER leads to anything 
but one side railing against the other.  No minds are changed. People 
in the middle of the road are chased away. We do not want this.

As I said, there are other lists for such ranting, diatribes, etc.
