AMEN to that Chip. One of the smartest things to say. You can triple back up all
your audio files and store them in a shoe box these days! All it takes is a
trip to Wally World and buy external had drives! I saw a bunch of them
Saturday there while Leslie and I were shopping! Since my station is on
Satellite, I have my spots, liners, Jingles, etc, back up on Flash Cards.
My "Digital Juke Box" is program is backed up on a flash card key too. I have it
back up at the station and at home on flash card keys Go "Jim Barcus" the
President of Digital Juke Box!

If we loose the feed from the Satellite Dish, our XDS Receiver is suppose to be
able to take the feed from a stream from Citadel over the internet. Of course,
Leslie and I have laptops with song on them, and yes for old times sake, we
kept some of our favorite CD here at home, but not many. Keeping all that vinyl,
carts, reel tape and machines is not necessary in the upcoming year of
2011! Broadcasters and Consumers will not go back and live those days! Just my
opinion!

I did keep here a few records, 33 1/3, that belong to my Dad and a few he bought
me back in the 70's. I've got them stored here at home, just a good memory of my
childhood days.
