[BC] Streaming economics

Alex:

We stream ballgames for $75 month to the sponsor, cost is
$49 a month. But there's no music, no performance rights
(the commercial beds we use are TM, mostly ASCAP--that's
already paid for). Usual get 10~15 listeners on the stream.

Music streams? Forget it. It's not the rates the streaming
companies charge, it's the royalties.  When you end up
paying $10 or better a day for each listener on a music
stream it makes no economic sense.
