10 KW AM day-timer..... when I would do a proof or maintenance after  
midnight, we would do the same. One night, I spotted a huge box of  
promotional Tee shirts.

When I finished maintenance, I cracked the mike and said "First 10  
signal reports from outside Alabama gets a free tee shirt". Gave phone  
number once. The lines lit up for over an hour. Those who missed the  
phone number sent in QSL cards. Mostly East Coast and Canada.
