First of all, the Alternate Frequency is not
a wastebasket, although a few people
treat it so.
The AF is to carry on discussions among
broadcasters that are not necessarily
broadcast related. Few things are off
topic on the AF, while they don't fit here.
That said, so far as I can tell, you did not
address any of the points of the study -
where revenue was going to come in the
next 3 years and beyond.
The strategies of broadcasters is varied,
and it is clear many do not understand
the technologies or the proper way to
exploit them. The report is a view into
the "common thinking."
A shot at the FCC, President Bush, or
the government in general is not a proper
reply to the topic/thread. That actually causes
your response to be headed for many
wastebaskets, no matter where it is posted.
If you want to talk about allocations, that is
fine ... but that is another discussion.
And, lest anyone else think your post is
an invitation to bash any politician, or
the FCC, that is not true. It accomplishes less
than even what you accuse the AF of being.
