Do you happen to remember when UPI might have not ID'd?

When I started in radio in 1982 they were ID'ing.

As in

(21:59:59...DTMF feed start...22:00:01...papers shuffling...22:00:03...deep,
hurried voice) UPI News, I'm Jim Lounsbury. (more papers shuffling, then
news stories begin).

Those were the good old days, friends...
