Another useful tool for observation purposes is a
spectrum analyzer. The spectrum of the 'noise' is
broadband. This is what the reflectometer and
VSWR protection responds to. Similar to a THD
analyzer. Null out the fundamental and anything
other is read as THD, including hum, noise, etc.
