OK, well... perhaps its time, once again, to re-deploy them in the "Theater 
of the Mind"! Imagine it... VOICE actors and actresses, with no need to be 
"glamorous"... with today's digital technology, the editing and processing of 
sound effects, etc, would make such productions absolutely 1'st class for minimal 
investment!

There are two modern radio dramas that I listen to every weekend... 
"Adventures in Odyssey" and "Down Gilead Lane". While the prime audience is youngsters, 
the shows are written and produced with the parents in mind, so they truly 
have an appeal from 8 to 88! They use very good acting, SFX, and scripts. I 
think radio drama could easily become a successful format, if given another chance.
