They're already revving-up to deliver that via the next generation of cell
phone/mp3 players. Mobile Internet could give you this already, by logging into
streaming audio.
Traditional Radio already has enough "threats". Adding this obnoxious noise
to everyone's analog receivers isn't going to help matters any. For the .00001%
of the population who have IBUZ radios, we're already getting reports of
less-than-desirable performance from excessively expensive sets. Word-of-mouth is
powerful advertising. People who buy these sets will most likely return them,
and tell their family & friends "Forget it." The more stations activate this
nightmare, the worse it's going to get for all of the analog receievers already
in use. Every time I hear of (or hear) another station activating it, I just
shake my head in utter bewilderment! What a waste of money.
