[BC] Dell Laptops

I remember back around '78 when I was running an avionics shop that there was a big (and FAA required) battery change out from lithium batteries installed in ELT's, several of which had ignited in the aircraft.  

ELT's are usually installed toward the rear of the aircraft and just about impossible to get to in flight.

Does anyone see a pattern here?
