The worst problem I had was when I was nearing a new FM tower site and 
was passed by an old pickup at a very high rate of speed exiting the 
area.  Seems the tower crew had the previous evening romanced some local 
fauna at a nearby sawdust establishment, and the testosterone-laced 
guardians of their virtue had showed up about thirty minutes prior to my 
arrival with baseball bats.  The guy running the winch had nowhere to go 
and was beaten quite badly, many broken bones before the crew up the 
tower could get down.  Police picked them up, but the crew didn't want 
to press charges.
