Mike, et al: Headline news has been doing this for some time. Standard
MO was talent to intro a "package" report and report ends with video.
Then back to talent for next report. Simple formula.
Back when Lynn Russell was still anchoring I saw a flubbed take make it
on the air. After the video of the previous report, Lynn begins her
setup only to blow the second sentence. She laughs, makes a face and
chuckles could be heard from the floor crew. Then she starts the setup
again and all is well. A friend of mine in Atlanta has a copy of the flub.
