Our old RCA TT6-EL transmitter was called Tommy.
We then bought another TT6-EL that was called Timmy, since
it was Tommy's baby brother.

In 92 we went with a Harris Platinum. Good transmitter,
but it's never acquired a nickname.

We sometimes refer to our aux as "Bertha".  One does have to be careful about knowing who's within earshot when we talk about "heating up Bertha"...
