    Actually Dana, you are making MY point! And I thank you for it. See, 
the glass is half full. By your very own supposition, half the people in 
a geographical area ARE getting their "audio" by a land base system. As 
such, those land based systems should be required to do what the rest of 
the land based "audio to the masses" people are required to do.  Are you 
implying that those sat radios listeneres that happen to be picking up 
the terra based transmission to the masses, do not deserve to hear any 
emergency information? And for God's sake, whatabout the children?

    Looks like you, speaking on behalf of XM/Sirius, would like the sat 
boys to have all the good things of broadcasting, without any of the 
constraints. That is hardly fair. Nor balanced.

    I, as a 30 year veteran of the broadcasting business, have no 
trouble with the sat boys as competition. I just believe that we should 
all play by the same rules. Is there anything wrong with that viewpoint?
