Every station is required to maintain a "public file".

Every station renewal notice is required to identify where and when this 
"public file" may be reviewed.

This may be either at the station's business office, or at a "custodian".

If at a custodian, it is not uncommon to select a not-for-profit agency 
such as the local Chamber of Commerce.
