Stations have complained. Trouble is, the shows bring in such good 
numbers that no one is willing to drop them over an issue like that. 
NBC TV stations complained when NBC began promoting MSNBC. What could 
they do short of dropping the network?

Saga Communications has made it clear that any show that appears on 
satellite will not be carried by their stations. Frankly, I don't 
believe they go to the wall over it when it could mean complete 
format changes. In Western MA their Talk stations would have to 
replace at least 8 hours of their day. There are 5 talk stations in 
the area. One trimulcast. There isn't much decent stuff that isn't 
already taken or on satellite. Other groups are considering doing the same.
