[Tech-Assist] AT&T 'MFT' amplifier card ??

Hello all

We lost our analog, real-copper program line @ KHMO early Thursday

studio > Central Office>  2 miles of copper > Tellabs 4008 in a pedestal > 4 
miles copper > Tellabs 4008 at the site

AT&T traced it to an 'MFT card' in the Central Office

They have replaced it but now our levels are down about 20 db

I suppose the CO guy just took the new one out of the box and plugged it in 
without checking switch / jumper settings etc

Anyone have any info on this beast ?

I'm almost positive it is an amplifier / transformer combo
