A loaner STL transmitter has been installed already. That did not solve the problem. Plus, that issue would also show up as an AFC error indication on the receiver.

The tower crew is checking all connectors and jumpers for problems.

If I don't find the RF feed issue as the problem, what you suggest is my next step. Wattmeter and dummy load at the top of both towers, feed a transmitter into the bottom, and measure power out at the coax and SWR into the antennas.
