I don't have the full story, or even part of the story, but something 
unusual happened with the EAS & WEA. I received several questions from
old co-workers and friends in the Bay Area asking what was going on?

My friends reported receiving multiple, duplicate alerts on their cell 
phones. Different repetions on different family member's cell phones.

CHP issued two alerts for different, but adjacent areas. CHP also 
issued cancel messages.  Without the tower transmission and handset logs, 
its difficult to figure out how they were processed.
