[EAS] Amateur & Personal Radio Users Reminded Not to Use Radios in Crimes

I saw a guy on You-Tube (bills himself as a Ham elmer) discuss this.
He acted as if he had no clue as to why the FCC would post something like this, or why they would post it at this time. He also acted as if he were insulted by this.
Give me a break!
Essentially he said that no ham would do anything like this.
Of course the commish was including other personal radio services FRS, GMRS (CB?) and the likes. Wonder if it had anything to do with that little party in D.C. a few days ago? Seems the news reported seeing rioters carrying walkie talkies.
Other You Tube Ham radio sites seem to be going down the "prepper" road. One has a logo of a microphone (the head) and cable (the body) that has a strong resemblance to the Don't Tread On Me snake. I have no objection to having Ham radio in your "preparedness" tool kit as long as the intentions are good.
Commish shoulda never taken code out of the path to a Ham license. I'm sure our new $35 license fee will go towards similar improvements.
