In the Sage manual, this refers to only the RC-1 hand-held remote control 
pad. You need to use the front-panel LCD screen buttons to abort an EAN.
I don't know if you can also use the web interface.

Sage documented how to abort an EAN in a release note after the 2011 
national test audio was messed up
