Thank you for sharing this sad news with us. My condolences on the death of
Dennis as your friend and as an icon to all of us in the field of Public
Warning. I never had the privilege of meeting Dennis but, like Gary, I think
his warning about "Milling Time" was critical for us to remember to provide
the same information across as many platforms as possible to help people
take the appropriate action to save their lives. 

Dennis was a lode star for those of us in the public warning sector, but his
death is a loss for the entire emergency management community.
