One of the TFT 911 units I purchased had an EPROM programmed in SPANISH!
When I contacted Darryl about this, he chuckled.....and told me that there were "several" 911's that were set up for Spanish.....
He offered to re-program the EPROM in English if I wanted to send it to him.....
I respectfully declined his offer....the Spanish unit was really only used for parts -- it was never a full-functioning device!
But.....that "above-and-beyond" attitude is what made Darryl stand head and shoulders above the crowd!!
RIP, Mr. Parker......

I inherited a TFT911 unit well after TFT ceased operations. Darryl was always eager to support our unit anyways, and with a response time that was above and beyond the call duty. He was an example we could all learn from for his integrity and caring. He will be missed!

Darryl was the Ultimate Gentleman in every sense. Some of us recall the year
that TFT purchased booth space at NAB but things didn't quite work out.
Darryl ordered up some cushy carpet and a couple of white couches, creating
a oasis of sorts for tired show attendees with aching backs and sore feet.
Anyone was welcome to sit for a spell and enjoy some conversation.
I am deeply saddened that I'll never see that warm smile accompanied by an
amused twinkle in his eyes as he launched into another story.
