Hey there Curmudgeon. We in Marin county are, for the second day, getting WEA "Extreme Fire Danger" alerts intended for Napa county. As a result each day the Marin County Sheriff's office must issue a disclaimer message. This does not enhance trust in these alert messages. The statement "we are trying to get this alert stopped" reveals some of their frustration. I'm not sure who's pushing what buttons in Napa or why they can't unpush them.
