NWS has included impact-based warning information for TOR and SVR in its
text-based products for a few years. NWS considers its text products as
the official record of alerts and warnings.
Unforunately, unless you have on-staff meteorologists and use one of the
commercial weather software (or Apps), you probably won't get the
impact-based codes. The impact-based coding doesn't appear to flow
through the NWS systems to the CAP or SAME products.
Even if a station doesn't normally carry FFW, TOR or SVR; some might want
to carry the "catastrophic" impact-based warnings. But that currently
requires an on-staff meterologist or commercial weather software.
