If three makes a Curmudgeon Club, then sign me up.
Just had a copper land land put back in a couple of months ago.
I don't normally carry a cell phone. And when I do it's a flip phone!
(Does that qualifies me for Club Prez?)

When our other provider, who I recently dropped upgraded my cable/phone modem.
The old modem had a plug in batt that you could get at most any
battery place. It also had a slot for a second batt.
The battery back-up arrangement for the new box was a special
(proprietary connector) wall wart with a built in rechargeable battery
for about $80.
Bunk to that noise! Went out and bought a $40 UPS that can work with anything.
