FYI, The following paragraph on EAS was at the bottom of my SiriusXM renewal notice...

Emergency Alert System. SiriusXM provides nationwide alerts from the Emergency Alert System on all of its channels. State and local emergency alert messages and information specific to major metropolitan markets are provided on SiriusXM's local traffic and weather channels. SiriusXM does not provide state and local emergency alert messages on any of its other channels.
