[EAS] Sirius/XM

To the EAS Brain-trust

 

In the past there has been some discussion regarding how some are using
fixed-location Sirius/XM Receivers as sources of National Level EAS
Messages.     I mentioned this during a recent meeting here and we would
appreciate some additional information  - 

 

Ø  Who is your contact at Sirius/XM?  (Contact info would be helpful) 

Ø  What make/model of receivers are you using?

Ø  What is the cost of these units?

Ø  How do you get them activated by Sirius/XM?

Ø  Is there a special rate when they are ONLY used to feed an EAS Decoder,
and what is that?

 

Anything else you can provide would be appreciated.
